Our primary purpose is not to point you to this church - but rather to point every person we talk to toward God, the God of this church, the God that is Jesus the Christ. You will not find perfection here, just a warm, inviting atmosphere full of people who love God and this world. Stop by, look around, talk to people, be our guest! Questions? Just ask.
The story of Christ the Servant began as a group of families worshiped at Reed Elementary in Allen in 1980. It took a few years to grow and then that wonderful day in 1985 when we broke ground for this church building. We have grown in many different ways since that day, but we truly believe that the most exciting days for CtS are ahead! Maybe this is where God puts you in our story. It is no accident you are here. God has led you to CtS for a reason. We pray that God leads his people to this loving church where we are centered on Christ, led by the Spirit; a Bible-based focus discovering together how to apply Jesus's teachings in the 21st century.
I'm new to CTS; how do I get started? Whether you are new to Christianity or new to Christ the Servant, you can call or email the church office and someone is waiting to help you get connected.
What is worship like? At Christ the Servant, you will discover a warm and inviting Spirit-filled congregation that is rooted in traditional Lutheran theology and liturgy. On Sunday mornings, you can expect to hear messages and scripture readings and to be engaged in inspirational music accompanied by organ or piano.
What time should I arrive?
You will want to arrive about 15 minutes early so you will be able to meet a few people before worship starts at 9:30 am. And you will want to stay after worship for food and fellowship located in the Fellowship Hall.
