Pastor Cheryl Herreid

Pastor Cheryl Herreid has been the spiritual leader of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church since October 2023.
Cheryl and her family are thrilled to be called as the next pastor at Christ the Servant in Allen. Cheryl was most recently active in various leadership roles within her home church, Rejoice Lutheran Church of Coppell, for the last ten years. As their Vicar she focused on discipleship development, leading worship, and social ministry while completing her seminary studies at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. Prior to entering ministry as a vocation, Cheryl was an HR professional with a concentration in leadership and organizational development. She has a passion for proclaiming God’s love for all extending beyond the four walls of the building and is particularly excited about the ways Christ the Servant serves the local community of Allen.
 
Cheryl and her husband, Bob, have two daughters. The eldest daughter lives in Fort Worth and the rest of the family resides in Coppell with their two dogs, Ellie and Pepper.
